Features Writer for Business Standard

Got this job posting in my mailbox today. Sounds good. Hope you find it useful.

For their soon-to-be launched Sunday Feature paper, Business Standard is looking for feature writers "who'd be comfortable writing on a variety of subjects (art/literature/general interest). There will be little to no corporate/financial writing involved, but if the candidate shows interest in that as well, Business Standard allows a great deal of flexibility as far as writing for a variety of sections goes. The focus is on high-quality writing and not reporting skills.

Requirement: Fresher or someone with 1-5 years of experience.

Remuneration: Based on experience, but "I will add that Business Standard are pretty good paymasters, and the working environment is very encouraging of newcomers."

Contact: arati.menon@business-standard.com
