Report BPO/IT Industry News For Techgoss

Techgoss.com reports news from BPOs, IPOs, KPOs… that the mainstream media will not care to report about. A woman is sexually harassed by her boss and despite her repeated plea’s, is not heard by the HR of the company. A boss is so good that when he finally decides to leave, those under him refuse to let him go. These are the kind of stories that Techgoss publishes on their website. And like it’s owner DJ Varma says, “reporting what Indian tech professionals talk about while standing around water coolers and having a drink with friends.”

Yes, Techgoss is not your mainstream publication and there is no stress to be extra creative in writing. The stress is for the story to be reported nicely and in the least number of words.

Payment is per article and often better compared to many mainstream magazines and newspapers. DJ pays Rs. 400-750 for a 250 word snippet about the IT/BPO industry. “If the information is very exclusive we will even pay upto Rs. 1,500 for the 250-word snippets. Sources/writers can remain annonymous and/or use psuedonyms, payment will always be made within 3 weeks.”

Many writers write using pseudonym, so your identity, in case you are reporting something sensitive, can remain secret. To do this the Editor DJ Varma, keeps personal contact with his writers.

Having done a few stories for Techgoss, I can personally vouch for their professionalism, especially with regards to payments, which I have always received on time. I would highly recommend it to you if you are a journalist working for the mass media (you can keep your identity secret), or someone who just has come to know of some good, bad or ugly news from a BPO or a IT company.

You can reach DJ Varma at techgoss@hotmail.com.
